4.8.3 Flux Loop
Regulation of motor 󹪞ux is accomplished with the 󹪞ux control loop. The output of the 󹪞ux loop
forms the magnetizing current command (I
ds,ref
). The default 󹪞ux loop gains work well for most
induction motor applications. For synchronous motor applications, use lower gains. Flux loop
gains require tuning when the regulator output shows signi󹪝cant oscillations during steady
state operation.
