10.7 Downloading the SOP
The SOP must be downloaded to the drive to be used. The tools for downloading the SOP are
contained in the Siemens ToolSuite of tools.
The SOP is downloaded to the DCR via Tool Suite - Drive Tool via Ethernet.
Downloading the SOP via serial Ethernet connection
Use the Drive Tool to download the program via the Ethernet connection. You do not need to set
up anything through the drive menu, it is handled directly from the PC. Once downloaded, the
󹪝le becomes the active SOP. Refer to the NXGPro+ ToolSuite Software Manual (A5E03086439)
for details about the Drive Tool.
