11.15 File System Corruption
The le system on the Digital Control Rack (DCR) is not accessible to the user. Refer to the
section USB Connection / Secure USB System Keys for information on how to use the Secure USB
System Keys for system backup and recovery.
Conguration File Deletion / Zeroing
If the DCR parameter conguration le is deleted by the system due to an internal system error,
the last copy of the le will be used at the next reboot. The last copy is best described as the last
copy of the parameter conguration le that was created when the DCR was last rebooted. When
this occurs, a log entry will be entered into the system log.
If there was subsequent le deletion / zeroing due to ongoing internal system errors, then the
system will try to recover to the defaults le. If the defaults le is not available, then the original
conguration le will be used. In all instances, a log entry will be entered into the system log. The
reasoning for this is so that the DCR can at least be booted up, and an assessment can be made
on how to recover the DCR.
