In case of two GPS connected to ECDIS, the selected GPS offset applies only to the master
GPS. To enter an offset for the second GPS, first select the second GPS as a master and then
enter the offset. ECDIS will automatically use the appropriate offset when the master GPS is
selected.
NOTE
This operation is available in the Monitoring station mode only
RADAR ANTENNA
The Radar antenna is displayed as a white square. Its position changes the same way as the
GPS antenna’s one.
CONNING POSITION
The conning position is used as origin for VRM/EBL tool, origin of ship vectors. The conning
antenna’s symbol is triangle. Its position changes the same way as the GPS antenna’s one.
AIS TRANSPONDER
The AIS transponder symbol is cross.
TURNING
Click on the F-Distance button to enter the value of the distances the ship makes before
turning.
This table is used in the Predictor module to calculate the future position of the ship when it
turns.
