Route properties
GENERAL TAB
• Name: name of the route that can be edited
• Departure: name of the departure port
• Arrival: name of the arrival port
• Waypoints number of waypoints
• Length the overall length of the route
• Lock toggle to lock or unlock the route. Locking the route will protect it from
unauthorized editing
NOTE
Entering the port names is important, as this information will be transferred to
the AIS for use as part of the static data broadcast by VHF
