TIP IDENTIFICATION

HEAD SWAP PROCEDURE
In order to run Nylon CF, Nylon 12CF or Antero, the standard head must be swapped out with the dedicated
Nylon CF/Nylon 12CF/Antero head.
To use other materials, follow the same process for reinstalling the standard head.
Required Tools
Standard screwdriver
9/64” Allen Wrench
Removing the Head
1. Unload Material.
2. Power off the printer.
3
. Perform the required lock-out and tag-out procedures.

. Slide open the left hood.
Warning: Always wear safety gloves and long sleeves when working with
the head or liquefier tips. Components are very hot.
High Voltage: Failure to read and follow all instructions could result in
electric shock.
All unused model and
support tips are
interchangeable -
EXCEPT for Soluble
Release support tips.
Once a tip is used, it is
committed to that
material type and is no
longer interchangeable.
Model tip size is
imprinted on the top side
of the plate (T12, T14,
T16, T20, etc.).
The Soluble
Release support
tip is shorter than
standard tips.
Support tip size is
imprinted on the
top side of the
plate (T12SR20,
T12SR30,
T12SR100, etc.).
