1D-26 Engine Mechanical:
8) Remove the intake (7) and exhaust camshafts (8).
9) Remove the dowel pins.
Cylinder Head
1) Remove the radiator (1). Refer to “Radiator / Cooling
Fan Motor Removal and Installation in Section 1F
(Page 1F-5)”.
2) Remove the exhaust pipe assembly (2) and muffler.
Refer to “Exhaust Pipe / Muffler Removal and
Installation in Section 1K (Page 1K-3)”.
3) Remove the water hoses (3).
4) Remove the cylinder head bolts (L65) (4).
5) Remove the cylinder head bolts (L175) and washers.
NOTE
When loosening the cylinder head bolts,
loosen each bolt little by little diagonally.
6) Remove the cylinder head (5).
7) Remove the cylinder head gasket (6), O-ring (7) and
dowel pins.
