1E-4 Engine Lubrication System:
6) Stop the engine and remove the oil pressure gauge
and attachment.
7) Reinstall the main oil gallery plug and tighten it to the
specified torque.
CAUTION
!
Use a new gasket to oil leakage.
Tightening torque
Main Oil gallery plug (M16) (a): 35 N·m (3.5 kgf-
m, 25.5 lb-ft)
8) Check the engine oil level. Refer to “Engine Oil and
Filter Replacement in Section 0B (Page 0B-10)”.

Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Drain engine oil. Refer to “Engine Oil and Filter
Replacement in Section 0B (Page 0B-10)”.
2) Drain engine coolant. Refer to “Cooling System
Inspection in Section 0B (Page 0B-12)”.
3) Remove the radiator (1), exhaust pipe assembly (2)
and muffler. Refer to “Radiator / Cooling Fan Motor
Removal and Installation in Section 1F (Page 1F-5)”
and “Exhaust Pipe / Muffler Removal and Installation
in Section 1K (Page 1K-3)”.
4) Remove the water hoses (3). Refer to “Water Hose
Routing Diagram in Section 1F (Page 1F-3)”.
5) Remove the oil pan (4). Refer to “Engine Bottom
Side Disassembly in Section 1D (Page 1D-53)”.
