1F-10 Engine Cooling System:
5) Remove the thermostat connector (1) along with
bracket (7).
6) Remove the bracket (7) from the thermostat
connector (1).
7) Remove the connector cap (8).
8) Remove the thermostat (9).
Installation
Install the thermostat in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the thermostat.
NOTE
The jiggle valve “A” of the thermostat faces
upside.
• Tighten the thermostat connector bolts to the specified
torque.
Tightening torque
Thermostat connector bolt (a): 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-
m, 7.0 lb-ft)
