• When installing the gear bushing onto the driveshaft,
align the shaft oil hole “A” with the bushing oil hole “B”.
Countershaft
• Install the countershaft bearing into the housing, using
the special tool.
CAUTION
!
Never reuse countershaft bearing.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
• Install the countershaft bearing (1) to the countershaft,
using the hydraulic press and special tool.

• When installing the gear bushing onto the
countershaft, align the shaft oil hole “A” with the
bushing oil hole “B”.
• Apply engine oil to O-rings (4).
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-rings (4) with new ones.
