1 1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Check the CKP sensor coupler for loose or poor
contacts.
If OK, then measure the CKP sensor resistance.
3) Disconnect the CKP sensor coupler and measure the
resistance.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
Tester knob indication
Resistance (Ω)
CKP sensor resistance
90 – 150 Ω (Bl /Y– G)
4) If OK, then check the continuity between each terminal
and ground.
CKP sensor continuity
∞ Ω (Infinity) (Bl/Y – Ground, G – Ground)
Are the resistance and continuity OK?
Go to Step 2. Replace the CKP
sensor with a new one.
