Basic Features
136 The Call Routing Tab
3.12.6.1 USING EXTERNAL ACCESS NUMBERS
Once an external number is entered by the administrator in the Configure
External Access screen, the DOS-A50 treats any calls from the specified num-
ber as if the user had pressed the Response Point button in the office.
1. Dial the assigned external access number.
2. The DOS-A50 routes the call to the extension number specified by the
administrator in the Configure External Access screen.
3. The external caller is prompted to enter their Assistant password (default
9999).
N
OTE: Voicemail and Assistant passwords are synchronized by the DOS-A50. If
the default 9999 is changed in either Voicemail or Assistant, the user
must enter the new password.
The Response Point greeting tones play, and the user can access any
Response Point option such as voice dialing contacts and checking voice-
mail.
