1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-5.)
2. Remove two screws (39), lock washers (38), and flat
washers (37).
3. Remove two screws (41), lock washers (38), and flat
washers (37).
4. Remove pulley cover (40) and groomer cover (36).
5. Loosen screws (44 and 45).
6. Rotate eccentric (47) to move groomer blade
assembly shaft in slot so groomer blade assembly
shaft and reel shaft are as close together as
possible.
7. Remove screw (18), lock washer (17), and flat
washer (16).
8. Remove pulley (15) and belt (19).
9. Remove key (14) and spacer (23) from reel shaft.
10. Remove screw (22), washer (24), spacer (32), and
remove components (25–28) as an assembly.
11. Remove screw (49), lock washer (50), and spacer
(51).
12. Remove guide wheel (52).
13. Remove nut (53) and two washers (54) from groomer
roller (56).
14. Remove screw (45) and lock washer (46).
15. Remove screw (44), lock washer (43), eccentric (47),
and belt tension link (48).
16. Remove nut (57) and carriage bolt (42).
17. Remove screw (35), lock washer (34), and flat
washer (33).
18. Remove nut (20), spacer (21), and screw (1).
19. Remove drive assembly (31), spacer (30), and slide
spacer (7).
20. Remove bearing housing plate (55) from groomer
blade assembly (29).
21. Remove two screws (13) and lock washers (12).
22. Remove weight cover (11), weight (10), and cover
plate (9).
23. Remove V-ring seal (8).
24. Remove nut (6), screw (5), lock washer (4), and two
flat washers (3).
25. Remove weight (2).
26. Remove adjustment knob (58), and grease fitting
(59) as an assembly.
