Reel drive does not engage when
Operator Presence Control (OPC) bail is
engaged.
System voltage too low. Check system charge. (See “Battery Pack
Test” on page 4-45.)
Mow switch not engaged. Engage mow switch.
Reel motor harness connector not
connected.
Connect reel motor harness connector.
(See “Reel Motor” on page 4-62.)
Reel motor harness not connected at
controller.
Connect reel motor harness at controller.
(See “Reel Control Unit” on page 4-67.)
OPC cable misadjusted. Adjust OPC cable. (See “OPC Cable” on
page 6-10.)
Bail lever not properly calibrated. Calibrate bail lever. (See “Bail Lever
Calibration” on page 4-43.)
Mow switch faulty. Test mow switch. (See “Mow Switch Test”
on page 4-49.)
Bail potentiometer faulty. Test bail potentiometer. (See “Bail
Potentiometer Test” on page 4-55.)
Reel motor controller faulty. Substitute with a known good reel motor
controller.
Reel motor faulty. Test/replace reel motor. (See “Reel Motor
Test” on page 4-53.)
Reel drive does not reach full speed. Reel motor faulty. Test/replace reel motor. (See “Reel Motor
Test” on page 4-53.)
Bedknife-to-reel contact too tight. Check bedknife-to-reel adjustment. (See

page 8-14.)
Speed paddle not properly calibrated. Calibrate speed paddle. (See “” on
