Handle Assembly
See Figures 6-12 through 6-14.
Removal and Installation
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-5.)
2. Disconnect both park brake cables at brake bands.
(See “Park Brake Cable” on page 7-6.)
3. Remove handle cover. (See “Handle Cover” on
page 6-4.)

NOTE
Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.
4. Disconnect engine harness wire connectors
(1 and 2) if equipped.
5. Disconnect ground wire ring terminal (3) if equipped.

6. Disconnect ground wire ring terminal (5) from the
frame.
7. Disconnect engine shut off connector (4) if equipped.
8. Disconnect light kit harness connector (6) if
equipped.
NOTE
Record position of cable ties before removing to ensure
correct installation.
9. Remove cable ties (7).
