7.4 Working with B-FV Setting Tool (V1.0.27)

Tool is used to send specific commands to your printer. It has the Single Command tab, which
provides six commands.
￭ Reboot Printer Restart your printer.
￭ Reset To Factory Reset factory settings for your printer.
Note When you select Reset to Factory and click Send, all setting parameters in
the printer will be returned to the factory default values. In this case, however, the
factory default values are not reflected to B-FV Setting Tool.
Therefore, when you want to change the printer parameters after initializing the
printer, perform the following in B-FV Setting Tool:
1) Select Reset to Factory and click Send for initializing the printer.
2) Click Get for obtaining factory default values, on the tab which you want to set.
3) When completing the setting, click Send for sending the changed parameters
to the printer.
￭ Self Test Run a self test to print a configuration label.
￭ Change Emulation: Change the emulation language for your printer.
￭ Media Calibration: Change the media sensor for your printer.
￭ Ribbon Calibration: It calibrates the ribbon so that your print start position will be more
accurate.
- RESET Turn off Ribbon Calibration.
- ON Turn on Ribbon Calibration. Enter the height of your label in the scale box.
For example, if the height of your label is 100 mm, enter 100 in the box.
