3.2 Replacing the Parts for B-FV4D-GS/TS

3.2.5 Replacing the Stepping Motor
1. Refer to Section 3.2.4 to remove the mid cover.
2. Cut the cable tie which locates the cable of the stepping motor.
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 3 screws and then take off the stepping motor.
4. Replace the stepping motor with a new one and then reassemble it in the reverse order of removal.
5. After replacing, perform a diagnostic test print or print a sample label to make sure the printer is
performing correctly regarding the following points.
Printing is performed correctly.
No noise is generated during the print operation.
