Chapter 4: Using SConfigurator for
Configuration
Once you have connected all the equipment to the device, you can begin configuring the device to ensure
that it can communicate with the attached devices and with a video management software over the network.
In order to configure the device, you first need to obtain the IP address using SConfigurator.
SConfigurator is a PC-based administration tool that you can use over any TCP/IP network.
CAUTION: Any changes made using the video management software will override the changes made using
SConfigurator or the Web Interface.
