8) Disconnect the toggle lever (1, Fig. 4)
from the crosshead pin (2). Let the
toggle lever hang in the column.
9) Attach the shackle (94019L) to the
column.
10) Attach the manual ratchet (H1) to the
shackle (94019L) on the column and
the platform (94143).
WARNING
Injury Hazard: Before you
operate the turning gear,
make sure that no
personnel are on the
platform or near the
flywheel.
11) Operate the manual ratchet (H1) to lift
the platform (94143) from the
crankshaft.
12) Operate the turning gear to move the
crank until the connecting rod and the
platform (94144) can be lifted from the
crankshaft.
13) Stop the turning gear when the
crosshead pin and platform are at an
applicable height.
14) Attach the four eye bolts (94045-M56,
Fig. 5) to the cylinder block (1).
15) Operate the chain blocks (H2, Fig. 3)
and the shackles (94019L) to lift the
bracket (94322B, Fig. 5).
16) Attach the two hooks (2) of the bracket
(94322B) to the two eye bolts
(94045-M56).
17) Attach the chain blocks (H3, Fig. 6) to
the two eye bolts (94045-M56).
18) Attach the chain block (H5) to the
bracket (94322B) as shown.
19) Attach the shackles (94019P, Fig. 3) to
the lugs on the column on fuel side.
20) Attach the two chain blocks (H3, Fig. 6)
to the two shackles (94019P).
21) Use the turning gear to turn the crank
of the related cylinder to BDC.
22) Remove the platform (94144, Fig. 4).
