The Finisher’s Stapler Cartridge is low on staples, only 20 more sets can be stapled.
Initial Actions
• Check the Stapler Head connectors for connection failure.
• Check Staple remaining amount.
Procedure
Enter Service Diagnostics Menu: Printer Menu > Troubleshooting > Service Tools > Printer
Status Page > hold the Up and Down buttons simultaneously > Run Service Diagnostics >
OK. Actuate the Low Staple Sensor (PL 21.6). ‘LOW’ (staples available) is displayed.

Check continuity between the Stapler Head and Finished PWB (Figure 1). The continu-
ity check is OK.

Repair the open circuit or short circuit.
Replace the Stapler Head (PL 21.6). If the problem continues, replace the Finisher PWB
(PL 21.12).
If the problem continues, replace the Finisher PWB (PL 21.12).
