Operating modes of the drive
The drive can operate in several operating modes with different types of reference. The
mode is selectable for each control location (Local, EXT1 and EXT2) in parameter group
19.

■ Speed control mode
The motor follows a speed reference given to the drive. This mode can be used either
with estimated speed as feedback, or with an encoder or resolver for better speed control
accuracy.
Speed control mode is available in both local and external control. It is also available
both in DTC (Direct Torque Control) and scalar motor control modes.
