Setting up the embedded fieldbus interface
Set the drive up for the embedded fieldbus communication with the parameters shown
in the table below. The Setting for fieldbus control column gives either the value to
use or the default value. The Function/Information column gives a description of the
parameter.

COMMUNICATION INITIALIZATION
Initializes embedded fieldbus commu-
nication. Drive-to-drive link operation
is automatically disabled.

EMBEDDED MODBUS CONFIGURATION
Node address. There must be no two
nodes with the same node address
online.

58.3 Node address
Defines the communication speed of
the link. Use the same setting as in the
master station
19.2 kbps (default)58.4 Baud rate
Selects the parity and stop bit setting.
Use the same setting as in the master
station.
8 EVEN 1 (default)58.5 Parity
Defines the action taken when a com-
munication loss is detected.
Fault (default)58.14 Communication loss
action
Enables/disables communication loss
monitoring and defines the means for
resetting the counter of the communic-
ation loss delay.
Cw / Ref1 / Ref2 (default)58.15 Communication loss
mode
Defines the time-out limit for the com-
munication monitoring.
3.0 s (default)
58.16 Communication loss
time
Defines a response delay for the drive.0 ms (default)
58.17 Transmit delay
Selects the control profile used by the
drive.

parent
58.25 Control profile
See section Basics of the embedded
fieldbus interface (page 592).
Selects the reference and actual value
types.

58.29 EFB act2 type
With the Auto setting, the type is selec-
ted automatically according to the
currently active drive control mode.
Defines the source of status word
when 58.25 Control profile = Transpar-
ent.

viations)
