Key Function Descriptions
Key Function Tables
3dB POINTS MEAS/USER
A peak search is performed, and the 3 dB bandwidth of
the largest signal on-screen is displayed in the
message area.
6dB POINTS MEAS/USER
A peak search is performed, and the 6 dB bandwidth of
the largest signal on-screen is displayed in the
message area.
ACCELRAT MEAS/USER
Accelerates the adjacent channel power measurement.
ACCELRAT FASTER MEAS/USER
Accelerates the ACP measurement with minimal
affects on accuracy.
ACCELRAT FASTEST MEAS/USER
Accelerates the ACP measurement, but affects the
accuracy by as much as 2 dB.
ACCELRAT NORMAL MEAS/USER
Makes the ACP measurement as specified by the
standards.
ACP AUTO MEASURE MEAS/USER
Measures the power that "leaks" from the transmitter
output into the channels that are adjacent to the
carrier.
ACP COMPUTE MEAS/USER
Performs an adjacent channel power (ACP)
computation on the current trace data without
changing the instrument state settings.
ACP MENU MEAS/USER
Accesses the adjacent channel power (ACP) menu of
softkeys that measure the adjacent channel power
ratio of a transmitter.
ACP GRAPH ON OFF MEAS/USER
Displays a graphical representation of the adjacent
channel power (ACP) ratio, for the selected channel
bandwidth, as a function of the channel spacing.
ACP STATE DFL CURR MEAS/USER
Selects the default state for measuring adjacent
channel power, or allows you to create a current state.
ADJ CURR IF STATE CAL
Adjusts various parameters in the IF for the
bandwidth currently in use, producing optimum
amplitude accuracy.
AGC ON OFF AUX CTRL
Switches automatic gain control on or off and keeps
the volume relatively constant during AM
demodulation.
ALC INT EXT AUX CTRL
Selects internal or external leveling which improves
the amplitude accuracy of tracking generator
measurements.
AM DEMOD ON OFF AUX CTRL
Turns AM demodulation on and off.
AM/FM DEMOD AUX CTRL
Accesses functions for AM or FM demodulation.
