EFM Commands
efm
Syntax efm port-id
Context oam
Description This command enables Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) OAM tests loopback tests on the specified
port. The EFM OAM remote loopback OAMPDU will be sent to the peering device to trigger remote
loopback.
Parameters port-id — Specify the port ID in the slot/mda/port format.
local-loopback
Syntax local-loopback {start | stop}
Context oam>emf
Description This command enables local loopback tests on the specified port.
remote-loopback
Syntax remote-loopback {start | stop}
Context oam>emf
Description This command enables remote Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) OAM loopback tests on the specified
port. The EFM OAM remote loopback OAMPDU will be sent to the peering device to trigger remote
loopback.
In order for EFM OAM tunneling to function properly, EFM OAM tunneling should be configured
for VLL services or a VPLS service with two SAPs only.
