mst-instance
Syntax mst-instance mst-inst-number
Context config>service>vpls>sap>stp
Description This command enables the context to configure MSTI related parameters at SAP level. This context
can be open only for existing mst-instances defined at the service level (see mst-instance).
Default none
Parameters mst-inst-number — Specifies an existing Multiple Spanning Tree Instance number.
Values 1 — 4094

Syntax mst-path-cost inst-path-cost
no mst-path-cost
Context config>service>vpls>sap>stp>mst-instance
Description This commands specifies path-cost within a given instance, expressing probability that a given port
will be put into the forwarding state in case a loop occurs (the highest value expresses lowest
priority).
The no form of this command sets port-priority to its default value.
Default The path-cost is proportional to link speed.
Parameters inst-path-cost — Specifies the contribution of this port to the MSTI path cost of paths towards the
spanning tree regional root which include this port.
Values 1 — 200000000
mst-port-priority
Syntax mst-port-priority stp-priority
no mst-port-priority
Context config>service>vpls>sap>stp>mst-instance
Description This commands specifies the port priority within a given instance, expressing probability that a given
port will be put into the forwarding state if a loop occurs.
The no form of this command sets port-priority to its default value.
Default 128
Parameters stp-priority — Specifies the value of the port priority field.
