Compact Flash
The VNA Master accepts a 256 MB Compact Flash Memory Module, Anritsu Part Number
3-2000-1500 or other commercially available equivalent. The contents of the internal memory
can be copied to and from a removable Compact Flash card. It must be a minimum of 256 MB
to be able to hold the entire contents of the internal flash memory and can be as large as
512 MB.
Symbols and Indicators
The following symbols and indicators convey the instrument status or condition on the
display.
Cal Status On
The VNA Master has been calibrated using a standard calibration with discrete Open, Short,
and Load components. For more information on calibration, see “Calibration Menu” on
page 3-27.
Cal Status Off
The VNA Master has not been calibrated.
Cal Status Flex On
The VNA Master has been calibrated using FlexCal with discrete Open, Short, and Load
Components. For more information on calibration, see “Calibration Menu” on page 3-27.
Battery Symbol
The battery symbol above the display indicates the charge remaining in the battery. The
colored section that is inside the symbol changes size and color with the charge level.
Green: Battery is 30% to 100% charged.
Yellow: Battery is 10% to 30% charged.
Red: Battery is 0% to 10% charged. When the Battery Indicator is red,
approximately 8 to 10 minutes of battery life remain.
When the battery is charging, either from the AC-DC Adapter (40-168) or the 12 Volt DC
adapter (806-141), the symbol will change to that shown in Figure 2-13:
