Phase
Directs the instrument to make a 1-port measurement and display the phase
result in degrees. Measured data is formatted such that the result is between
+180 degrees and –180 degrees.
Smith Chart
Directs the instrument to make a 1-port measurement and display the result on a
50–ohm impedance Smith Chart
Log Magnitude Fault Location
Directs the instrument to make a 1-port measurement and display the
magnitude result as dB loss versus distance. Return Loss is expressed as a
positive number, in other words, a larger numeric value represents more loss in
the DUT.
VSWR Fault Location
Directs the instrument to make a 1-port measurement and display a calculated
magnitude result as VSWR versus distance.
Group Delay S11
Directs the instrument to make a 1-port measurement and display a calculated
result in Group Delay versus frequency.
Back
Returns to the Measurement menu.
S21 Transmission
This soft key opens the S21 Transmission menu.
Log Magnitude
Directs the instrument to make a 2-port measurement and display the
magnitude result as dB loss or gain. In 2-port Gain measurements, a positive
result indicates gain in the DUT. Loss in the DUT is displayed as a negative
result.
Phase
Directs the instrument to make a 2-port measurement and display the phase
result in degrees. Measured data is formatted such that the result is between
+180 degrees and –180 degrees.
Group Delay S21
Directs the instrument to make a 2-port measurement and display a calculated
result in Group Delay versus frequency.
Back
Returns to the Measurement menu.
Toggle Mode S11 S21
Toggles between the most recent measurement displays (Log Magnitude, Phase, etc.) of
S11 Reflection and S21 Transmission as a way to quickly transition between the two.
