NOTE
Please spend some time with your
avionics installer to understand
exactly how your PFD is installed
and congured in your particular
aircraft, to understand the features
and capabilities available to you, and
to understand how various aircraft
system failures and abnormalities
may aect your EFD1000 PFD.
You can even add another MFD, replacing the Airspeed Indicator (ASI) and turn
coordinator, to round out a complete “six-pack” replacement and gain even more
capability and exibility (Figure 1-4). When you are ready to upgrade, simply contact
an Aspen Avionics Authorized Dealer for more information.
This Pilot’s Guide covers the EFD1000 Pro PFD models. These systems are
powerfully exible, and can be congured in a variety of ways, depending on the
other aircraft systems with which they are integrated.
