7.8.10.3.1 Introduction
In multiple channel setup, it might be needed to align the colors of every projector in order to match the colors
of the others in a prefect way. Only this case where multiple projector have to be color matched is covered in
the procedure below.
Dynacolor adjustment versus Dynacolor calibration
• Single channel setup: each projector is color calibrated during production. This means that projectors in single channel setup
do not need to be calibrated anymore. Only specific color requests from the user may require some DynaC
olor adjustment.
This can be easily done by SLIGHTLY changing the desired values.
• Multiple channel setup: in multiple channel setup, it might be needed to align the colors of every projector in order to match the
colors of the other projectors in a prefect way. Only this case where multiple projector have to be color matched may require a
calibration.
Dynacolor adjustment
To adjust the Dynacolor settings, it is sufficient to change the values in the field Desired of the user interface.
Make sure that the new x and y coordinates are within the projectors default color triangle.
E.g. If you increase the x-value of the white point in the desired values
from 0.3260 to 0.3560, the white point will shift towards the
red region and the overall look of the image will be more reddish.
