Cleaning the Touch Screen
Materials Required
Lint-free Cloth, non-abrasive
Isopropyl Alcohol
Pre-moistened Cloth (appropriate for cleaning PC screens)
Note: Normal cleaners with ammonia, soaps, or any acids can damage the screen.
Use only a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alchohol.
To clean the touch screen:
1. Lightly moisten a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol, or use a pre-moistened cloth
suitable for cleaning a PC screen.
2. Gently rub the damp cloth across the screen until all of the residue is removed.
Cleaning the Cutter Blade
Note: When cleaning the cutter, you should also clean the media and cutter
sensors.

Isopropyl Alcohol
Cutter Cleaning Tool (included in cleaning kit)
The printer cleaning kit ships with the printer. It contains swabs and a squeeze bottle to be
filled with the Isoproply Alcohol. The Cutter Cleaning Tool (B31-CCT)
also ships with the
printer but more can be purchased as an accessory.
To clean the cutter blade, first remove the side panel.
1. Open the printer cover.
2. From the inside of the printer, use a tool (such as a screwdriver) to push the panel release
catch in on the left and right side of the printer.
