Start/Stop Code
Most barcodes contain a Start and Stop code signifying, in a line of text, where the barcode
starts and ends. The most common Start and Stop code is an asterisk (*), although some
barcoes required an opening and closing parenthesis ( ). To view the start and stop code
currently assigned to your barcode symbology:
1. In the Editor, touch the barcode element.
2. In More Options, touch the right arrow .
3. Touch the Readable Start/Stop (*) option box to place a checkmark in the box.
The Start/Stop code displays with the readable text in the barcode element.
