Label Types
The BBP
®
35/37 printer provides a number of predesigned label types, containing different
object elements and data fields already positioned on the label.
General Templates
The BBP
®
35/37 printer provides a number of predesigned label templates, containing
different object elements. Using a template makes it easier to format labels. When you power
up the BBP
®
35/37 printer, the default label is a free-form custom label, allowing you to use
any object on the label. When choosing the General Templates you are presented with a grid of
labels with specific object elements already placed on the label. All you have to do is fill in the
requested data (i.e., text, graphics, etc.). General Templates are designed for use with die cut or
continuous labels.
To use a template, on the Home page:
1. Touch More Label Types .
OR, if General Templates is part of your customized Home page control panel:
Touch General Templates .
OR
Touch Menu then, under Label, touch Templates .
Note: If General Templates is a label type you use often, place it in the Home Page
control panel for easy access. (See Customizing the Home Page on page 109.)
2. Under Category, touch the template category to use.
