snmp-server contact
To configure the SNMP contact MIB value on the system, use the snmp-server contact command in
Configuration mode. To remove the system contact information, use the no form of this command.

To send SNMP traps to a remote user, use the snmp-server host command in Configuration mode. To
remove trap forwarding, use the no form of this command.
snmp-server host {ip-address | hostname} version {1 | 2c} community
Command Description
snmp-server host Sends traps to a remote system.
snmp-server location Configures the SNMP location MIB value on the system.
snmp-server contact Configures the SNMP contact MIB value on the system.
word String that describes the system contact information of the node. Up to 255
alphanumeric characters.
