Show Commands
show terminal
To obtain information about the terminal configuration parameter settings, use the show terminal
command in the EXEC mode.
show terminal
Syntax Description No arguments or keywords.
Defaults No default behavior or values.
Command Modes EXEC
Usage Guidelines None.
Examples acs/admin# show terminal
TTY: /dev/pts/0 Type: "vt100"
Length: 25 lines, Width: 80 columns
Session Timeout: 30 minutes

show timezone
To display the time zone as set on the system, use the show timezone command in the EXEC mode.
show timezone
Syntax Description No arguments or keywords.

Field Description
TTY: /dev/pts/0 Displays standard output to type of terminal.
Type: “vt100“ Type of current terminal used.
Length: 24 lines Length of the terminal display.
Width: 80 columns Width of the terminal display, in character columns.
Session Timeout: 30 minutes Length of time, in minutes, for a session, after which the connection
closes.
