3-6. Disassembly, Reassembly and Lubrication

Notes on reassembling:
• Insert the end “E” of the “Bracket Head” under the “Spring Head Holder” that is
assembled on the “Cam Head Adjust” Block.
• When mounting the “SA Head”, fix it with the 1 screw after fitting its 2 projections to the
guide holes “D” of the frame, as shown on the previous page.
• Clean the thermal element surface of the “SA Head” with the head cleaner.
• After assembling the “SA Head”, perform test print in self print mode to check the print
quality. (Refer to “2-3-2(1) Self print mode”.)
If the print quality is not enough, ribbon slanting or ribbon wrinkle may occur. In this case,
perform “3-7-2 Ribbon Slant Elimination Adjustment”.
