Mutes all audio until a selective call is received.
The indicator is lit when the mute is ‘on’.
Removes normal background noise when there is
no audio signal. The indicator is lit when the mute
is ‘on’.
Both mutes are off when indicators are not lit.

Selects beacon call to be sent. It is also used to
enter data in setup.

Transmits a selective call or beacon call on the
selected channel.

Clarifier
Raises the received audio frequency in steps of
10 Hz to help clarify the received speech.
Reduces the received audio frequency in steps of
10 Hz to help clarify the received speech.

Channel
Selects the next higher channel.
