General information for both modes of operation
The beacon signal consists of four long tones.
Self-identification addresses ending in 99 should be avoided
as these cause confusion.
No alarm or call is recorded at the receiving transceiver,
only the Tx indicator flashes.
If the receiving transceiver is in scan mode, the scan
sequence recommences immediately.
Normal selective call operation is not affected.
