11-4 Derating Curve

Operating Environment
UL Type 1/ IP20
If the AC motor drive operates at the rated current, the ambient temperature needs to
be between -10– +40°C. If the temperature is above 40°C, decrease 2% of the rated
current for every 1°C increase in temperature. The maximum allowable temperature is
60°C.
UL Open Type/ IP20
If the AC motor drive operates at the rated current, the ambient temperature needs to
be between -10– +50°C. If the temperature is above 50°C, decrease 2% of the rated
current for every 1°C increase in temperature. The maximum allowable temperature is
60°C.
