EXTERNAL SOURCES IN Inputs
This 25-pin D-Sub connector carries the follow-
ing Control 24 input signals (and optional Sur-
round configurations):
• EXT 1 Input, Left (Left)
• EXT 1 Input, Right (Right)
• EXT 2 Input, Left (Center)
• EXT 2 Input, Right (Sub)
• EXT 3 Input, Left (Left Surround)
• EXT 3 Input, Right (Right Surround)
These auxiliary inputs add flexibility to
Control 24’s configuration possibilities, and can
be routed as stereo pairs into the Control Room
Monitor section.
SUBMIXER 1–4 IN Inputs
This 25-pin D-Sub connector carries the follow-
ing Control 24 input signals:
• Submixer Input #1, Left
• Submixer Input #1, Right
• Submixer Input #2, Left
• Submixer Input #2, Right
• Submixer Input #3, Left
• Submixer Input #3, Right
• Submixer Input #4, Left
• Submixer Input #4, Right
SUBMIXER 5-8 IN Inputs
This 25-pin D-Sub connector carries the follow-
ing Control 24 input signals:
• Submixer Input #5, Left
• Submixer Input #5, Right
• Submixer Input #6, Left
• Submixer Input #6, Right
• Submixer Input #7, Left
• Submixer Input #7, Right
• Submixer Input #8, Left
• Submixer Input #8, Right
These sixteen balanced inputs can be used to
bring any line-level signals into the monitor
mix. Each of these eight stereo pairs of inputs
has its own input level control in the Line Sub-
mixer section of Control 24. There is also a mas-
ter volume control in this section.
LINE OUT TO PRO TOOLS 1–8 Outputs
This 25-pin D-Sub connector carries the follow-
ing Control 24 output signals:
• Line Output #1
• Line Output #2
• Line Output #3
• Line Output #4
• Line Output #5
• Line Output #6
• Line Output #7
• Line Output #8
