Adjusting the M300 alarm volume
The volume of the M300 built-in speaker is adjustable. For more information on configuring the Volume
Control of the M300, see page 205.
To adjust the M300 alarm volume from the ICS
1 On the ICS, select the Telemetry/Parameters button in the menu bar of the BedView page.
2 Select the Device setup tab.
3 Select the Setup tab.
4 Select the Alarm volume [%] button.
5 Select one of the available settings.
To adjust the M300 alarm volume from the M300
1 On the M300, press the key until you scroll to the Alarm volume screen.
2 Use the buttons to increase or decrease the volume.
NOTE
The M300 alarm volume can be set to Off only while it is displayed at the ICS. If communication is inter-
rupted between the network and the M300, the M300 continues monitoring and automatically sets its
alarm volume to 100 %. Any alarms that are active at the time the M300 lost connection and all future
alarms are annunciated by the M300 until communication is reestablished with the ICS.
If there is an active alarm while M300 has lost connection with the ICS, the M300 screen does not shut
off despite the ICS Screen shut-off time [min] setting. You cannot shut off the M300 screen manually
unless the alarm is paused.
