After admitting a patient, you can configure several settings for a specific M300 device. These settings
include the Alarm pause key, Volume control screen, Alarm volume [%], Staff alert key, and Record
key.
These settings are based on the default telemetry settings entered from the ICS main screen. For related
information, see "Telemetry setup defaults" on page 206.
The system-wide telemetry settings defaults (see page 205) determine whether the following settings are
available for selection.
Selection Settings Description
Alarm pause Enabled (default), Disabled This setting is available only when the corre-
sponding ICS telemetry default setting is set to
’Per patient’. Otherwise, the setting is grayed-
out and appears unavailable for selection.
Volume control Enabled (default), Disabled This setting is available only when the corre-
sponding ICS telemetry default setting is set to
’Per patient’. Otherwise, the setting is grayed-
out and appears unavailable for selection.
Alarm volume [%] Off (default), 10, 20, 30, 40, 50,
60, 70, 80, 90, 100
Upon admission, the corresponding ICS telem-
etry default setting is the default setting.
Staff alert Enabled, Disabled (default) This setting is available only when the corre-
sponding ICS telemetry default setting is set to
’Per patient’. Otherwise, the setting is grayed-
out and appears unavailable for selection.
Archive Off, Record, Store/Rec., Store
(default)
This setting is available only when the corre-
sponding ICS telemetry default setting is set to
’Per patient’. Otherwise, the setting is grayed-
out and appears unavailable for selection.
