M300 and M300+ series – VG3.0
Low battery alarm
When the battery power level has reached approximately 30 minutes of remaining charge, a Low battery
message is reported visually and acoustically at both the ICS and M300/M300+ to indicate that the battery
is low. The M300/M300+ displays the Low battery status once every three minutes, plus or minus five
seconds.
Critical battery alarm
The M300/M300+ displays a critical battery alarm message, Recharge battery, to indicate a low battery
when the M300/M300+ power level has reached approximately 15 minutes of remaining charge. The
alarm is reported visually and acoustically at both the M300/M300+ and the ICS. After the user
acknowledges the alarm, the message will rotate through any other displayed M300/M300+ messages.
For information on the indications of the battery status LED and charging the M300 battery, see page 94.
Power-save mode
Power-save mode is on by default. When power-save mode is off, the battery will drain faster. When
power-save mode is off, and the M300 is on the Bedside Charger, it is necessary to closely monitor the
battery charge level.
NOTE
In the case of low or critical battery charge status, a message displays on the ICS and the M300/M300+,
as a reminder to recharge the battery. These status messages disappear and the annunciation stops
when the M300 is recharging in a Bedside Charger or Central Charger, or when the M300+ battery has
been replaced with a freshly charged battery.
