Telemetry monitoring
The Infinity M300 monitors ECG and SpO2 parameters for adult and pediatric patients.
M300 patients typically require ambulatory activity as part of their therapeutic regimen. To provide comfort
for mobile patients, the M300 should be placed in a disposable pouch (part number MS22905), a reusable
shower pouch (part number MS32401), or the patient's hospital gown pocket while the patient is
ambulatory. The carrying pouches have a clear front cover to provide a view of the color display, and can
be worn on a loose strap around the patient's neck. The M300+ should be placed in a disposable pouch
(part number MS34194) or a reusable pouch (part number MS33867).
When a patient is discharged, the trends and demographic data are erased from the M300. However, the
Trends data, Full disclosure data, and Events data remain in the ICS database.
For information about the ICS database, refer to the Instructions for use Infinity CentralStation Wide,
Software VG4.0 or later.
WARNING
To minimize the risk of strangulation and improve patient comfort, ensure that the M300 with
carrying pouch and parameter cables are properly positioned on the patient.
CAUTION
Do not use the Infinity M300 disposable pouch (part number MS22905) if the patient is to come in contact
with liquid. Instead, use the Infinity M300 shower pouch (part number MS32401) in the presence of
water.
When wearing the Infinity M300 Shower Pouch, the lead sets must be threaded in the front of the shower
pouch to avoid water from running down the lead set into the shower pouch.
