M300 – ST alarm messages
The following table lists ST alarm messages that may display on the M300.

!! Cannot analyze ST The algorithm cannot
determine ST values
due to artifact, the ab-
sence of normal beats,
or invalid leads.
– Perform a relearn
(see page 169).
– Check electrodes; reapply if
necessary.
– Make sure the patient’s
skin is properly prepared.
– Isolate the patient from
auxiliary equipment if pos-
sible.
– Inspect and replace defec-
tive cable(s) and wire(s).
– Reapply gel on reusable
electrode(s).
– Reapply the electrode(s).
Make sure the patient’s
skin is properly prepared.
– If a lead or electrode can-
not be replaced, select an-
other ST lead for
processing.
