To transfer data from an M300 to a bedside monitor
1 Select the M300 parameter box at the ICS whose data you wish to transfer to the bedside monitor.
2 Put the M300 (containing the data you want to transfer) into standby mode (see "Enabling standby
mode" on page 87).
Only patients in standby mode are candidates for transfer.
3 Go to the destination bedside monitor and start the data transfer (refer to the instructions for use of the
connected monitor).
NOTE
If the selected patient was not placed in standby, the following message appears: The selected bed
must be in standby.
NOTE
Trends in the database will be preserved and will be available for remote reviewing of the database from
which the data originated.
CAUTION
When transferring a patient to an M300 device, the M300 always adopts the alarm limits and arrhythmia
default settings of the ICS to which it is assigned when a patient is transferred from a bedside monitor to
an M300.
After completing the patient transfer, always check the alarm limits and arrhythmia settings to make sure
that they are appropriate for your patient.
