5. Press the stitch regulator (3) down and observe how the feed dog
and needle respond.
6. Turn the pusher eccentric (2) so that the feed dog and needle no longer
move when the stitch regulator (3) is pressed.
7. Tighten the threaded pins (1).
8.2.2 Adjusting the feed dog height at top dead center
The feed dog reaches the maximum stroke height at top dead center when
the handwheel is positioned at 190°.
Proper setting
Place the feed dog in the uppermost position by turning the handwheel.
The upper edge of the feed dog protrudes 0.5 mm above the throat
plate.
In machines with short thread cutters (KFA), the upper edge of
the feed dog protrudes 0.8 mm above the throat plate.

To adjust the feed dog height at top dead center:
1. Tilt the machine head ( p. 14).
2. Move the handwheel into the 190° position.
3. Loosen the threaded pins (2) on the lever (1) at the left, above the hook.
4. Turn the lever (1) such that the upper edge of the feed dog protrudes
0.5 mm (KFA = 0.8 mm) above the throat plate.
5. Tighten the threaded pins (2).
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before you adjust the feed
dog height.
