22.3.3 Cleaning the filter element

To clean the filter element:
1. Disconnect the machine from the compressed air supply.
2. Drain the water-oil mixture ( p. 120).
3. Unscrew the collection tray (2).
4. Unscrew the filter element (1).
5. Blow out the filter element (1) using the compressed air gun.
6. Wash out the filter tray using benzine.
7. Tighten the filter element (1).
8. Tighten the collection tray (2).
9. Tighten the drain screw (3).
10. Connect the machine to the compressed air supply.
NOTICE
Damage to the paintwork from solvent-based cleaners!
Solvent-based cleaners damage the filter.
Use only solvent-free substances for washing out the filter tray.
(1) - Filter element
(2) - Collection tray
(3) - Drain screw
