9 Aligning the needle bar linkage
Proper setting
Position the upper and lower stitch length adjusting wheel to 0.
 The needle pierces exactly in the center of the feed dog needle hole.
9.1 Aligning the needle bar linkage sideways

To align the needle bar linkage sideways:
1. Disassemble the arm cover ( p. 15).
2. Disassemble the head cover ( p. 16).
3. Set the upper and lower stitch length adjusting wheel to 0.
4. Loosen the threaded pins (1) on the two set collars (2) at the right-hand
end of the shaft for the needle bar linkage.
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before aligning the needle
bar linkage.
