9.2.1 Manufacturer-specific GSD
This GSD guarantees the unrestricted functionality of the measuring device. Device-specific
process parameters and functions are therefore available.

Assignment is performed in the Ident number selector parameter via the Manufacturer
option.

9.2.2 Profile GSD
Differs in terms of the number of Analog Input blocks (AI) and the measured values. If a
system is configured with a Profile GSD, it is possible to exchange devices made by
different manufacturers. However, it is essential to ensure that the order of the cyclic
process values is correct.
