Centering the lens
Press to select the type of mid-distance lens.
The centering target is displayed:
Enter the half PD and the frame height.
The target moves.
Lower the tube.
Insert the posiblock and its pad in the centering device.
Raise the tube back into centering position.
Position the lens on the tube, with the convex side on the tube.
Move the lens slowly until the micro-engravings are:
• Symmetrical in relation to the graduations
• Aligned on the line corresponding to the PRP (Prism Reference Point) of the lens
The PRP value of Essilor mid-distance lenses is 6 mm. This may vary depending on the
manufacturer of the lenses.
